We are Point to Point Advertising Designs LLC, an approved ADNOC contractor based in Musaffah 39, Abu Dhabi. Since 2016, our team has been fabricating safety bollards, pipeline marker posts, and a wide range of industrial signage from our own in-house factory. When a client needs gas safety bollards made to ADNOC specification, we manufacture them ourselves — from cutting the steel pipe to applying the high-visibility coating, fitting the warning plates, and casting the concrete bases. Everything is done under one roof, right here in Abu Dhabi.
This article explains what ADNOC gas bollards are used for, how we make them, and why buying from a local Abu Dhabi factory makes sense for your project.
What ADNOC Gas Bollards Are Used For
Gas safety bollards serve a very specific and important purpose on oil and gas sites, industrial facilities, and utility infrastructure across the UAE. Here is where you will typically find them:
Protecting buried gas pipelines. Wherever a natural gas pipeline runs underground — beneath a road, a car park, or a paved area — bollards are installed above ground to mark the route and warn excavators. The text "CALL BEFORE YOU DIG — DIAL 800 300" printed on the bollard body is a familiar sight on sites across Abu Dhabi.
Marking gas valves and wellheads. Bollards fitted with gas valve marker plates identify the exact location of underground valves, showing the valve number, pipeline diameter, and operating pressure. This information is critical for maintenance teams and emergency responders.
Protecting plant equipment and walkways. On refineries, processing plants, and compressor stations, bollards are placed around vulnerable equipment — pumps, meters, junction boxes — to prevent accidental vehicle impact. They also define safe pedestrian walkways and separate foot traffic from vehicle routes.
Guiding traffic at oil and gas sites. Bollards are used to channel vehicles along approved routes, mark no-entry zones, and protect site infrastructure from damage by heavy trucks and construction equipment.
How We Make Them
Our bollards are fabricated entirely in our Musaffah 39 workshop. Here is our standard process:
Steel pipe body. We start with a steel pipe of the required diameter and height, cut and prepared in our factory. The pipe is cleaned, primed, and then coated in high-visibility yellow paint with black reflective bands applied at the correct intervals.
Text and markings. Required text — such as "NATURAL GAS VALVE", "CALL BEFORE YOU DIG", pipeline diameter, and emergency contact numbers — is applied directly to the bollard body in the specified colours and font sizes.
Concrete filling and bases. For maximum strength and impact resistance, the pipe is filled with concrete. Bollards are either cast into a pre-formed concrete base block (for above-ground installation) or supplied with a steel base plate for bolting directly to a concrete floor or paved surface.
Warning and marker plates. Where required, we fabricate and fit bilingual warning plates in English and Arabic. These plates carry the relevant hazard symbols, pipeline information, and emergency contact details. The plates are made from aluminium or steel, printed with UV-resistant inks, and fixed securely to the bollard.
Every bollard we produce is made to the client's drawing and specification. If you have an approved drawing, we work to it exactly. If you need help with the specification, our team can advise based on our experience supplying similar projects across Abu Dhabi.
Why Buy from a Local Abu Dhabi Factory
There are real advantages to working with a manufacturer based in Musaffah rather than ordering from overseas or through a trading company:
In-house fabrication. We make everything ourselves. There is no middleman, no outsourcing, and no waiting for stock to arrive from another country. If you need a modification to the design, we can make it quickly.
Made to your drawing and specification. We do not sell off-the-shelf bollards. Every order is produced to the client's requirements — the right height, diameter, colour, text, plate configuration, and base type.
Quick delivery across the UAE. Our factory is in Musaffah 39, which puts us close to the main industrial areas of Abu Dhabi. We regularly deliver to Ruwais, Habshan, Das Island jetty areas, Musaffah, ICAD, KEZAD, Al Ain, Dubai, and other locations across the UAE. For remote sites, we coordinate delivery to suit your project schedule.
Bulk quantities. Whether you need ten bollards or several hundred, we can handle the volume. Our factory has the capacity to produce large batches without compromising on quality or lead time.
Other Bollards We Make
Gas pipeline bollards are one part of our bollard range. Our team also manufactures:
- Red and white safety bollards — for hazard marking, site boundaries, and traffic management on construction and industrial sites.
- Steel parking bollards — for car parks, building entrances, and pedestrian zones, in yellow/black or custom colours.
- Fixed bollards — permanently installed using base plates or cast-in-concrete methods for maximum security.
- Removable bollards — with a locking mechanism that allows the bollard to be lifted out when access is needed, then replaced and locked back in position.
If you need a bollard type not listed here, speak to our team. We fabricate to custom specifications and can work from your drawing or help you develop one.
